CranioSwift

Overview

CranioSwift is an AI-powered system designed to revolutionize the way cranial implants are designed and manufactured. This project received an AEA Ignite Grant of $485,000 to bring it from concept to reality.

The Problem
#

Traditional cranial implant design is:

  • Time-consuming — Takes weeks to design and iterate
  • Expensive — Requires specialized expertise
  • Limited — Doesn’t leverage modern AI capabilities

Our Solution
#

CranioSwift uses machine learning to:

  1. Analyze CT scan data
  2. Generate optimized implant designs
  3. Prepare files for 3D printing
  4. Dramatically reduce design-to-production time

My Role
#

As a key contributor to this project, I was involved in:

  • Technical development and validation
  • Grant writing and securing funding
  • Cross-disciplinary team coordination
